2nd highest food consuming day...

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!

"For football fans, winter means only one thing: The Big Game!
Whether you're a die-hard sports fan or
just eager to check out the high dollar commercials,
no Super Bowl Sunday would be complete
without friends, family and fabulous food!"

That is just how we are spending this Superbowl Sunday!
We are having a group of our friends over
to watch the big game in the "man cave".

While we are enjoying the game....
Eating delicious potluck appetizers & drinking a few cold beers...

I thought I would leave you with some
Superbowl fun facts ...

Did you know that...

The first Super Bowl was held on January 15, 1967
at the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California.
Although, back then it was known as
"The NFL-AFL World Championship Game".
It wasn't until 1969 that the name was finally
shortened to "Super Bowl" by the media.
The Green Bay Packers beat the Kansas City Chiefs
in that first game, by a whopping 35-10 victory.
The Packers went on to win the title the next year as well.

However, they didn't win another championship until 1997.
The Vince Lombardi trophy is named for the Green Bay Packers'
who led them to victory in those first two years.
Sadly, Vince Lombardi passed away in 1970 &
The Super Bowl trophy was named for him prior to Superbowl V.

What about some trivia questions for those of you
