So much to do... Always so little time.

The Title of this post explains why you saw one measly post from Thanksgiving until today.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving break.... but we were so0o0oo busy.  Michael and I both agree that it feels as if anytime we head to Hickory for the Holidays we spend our time running around like chickens with our heads cut off.  Now don't get me wrong, we do it to ourselves (no one is holding a gun to our heads), We just have so many people we want see and so much we want to do with so little time to accomplish it all.

I am going to make a short list of some of the places we visited...and people we saw (in order, according to days) while in the HKWheez  Hickory, NC:

~Verizon Wireless
~Wild Wok
~Ole Hickory Tap Room ( my best girl friends, several cousins, & the Hky boys too)
~The Mooses' for Thanksgiving lunch (Reinhardt side of the family)
~Lazy Dog Saloon ( typical group of "hky bar hoppers")
~The Wagoner Residence
~Food Lion and Walmart...  a couple of times
~Big lots
~Rock Barn for a little Golf

~Nagano Japanese

~Newton Conover Highschool Football game (The Longs, Howards, & several other 02' alumna)
~The Artist Cafe (the rest of Newton... we managed to avoid the first three nights in town)
~The Mooses' to help with Christmas Decorations & spend the day with my precious niece and nephew

We made our rounds while in town multiple times and saw many of our best friends & family!  It was definitely a great trip (despite the exhaustion we feel once we arrive home).  We are constantly reminded each time we go "home"  how thankful we are for our chaotic trips.

As if we didn't visit with enough people while in our hometowns for the weekend.... We also decided to make a side trip to King, NC.  Neither Michael nor I have ever been to King- it was definitely an experience.  The city is much, much further out in the middle of no where than we normally venture.  Our reason for visiting King was to meet my two best guy friends, Matthew and Duncan ( and Duncan's new wife Meredith too).  Duncan is now the minister at Antioch Methodist church (such a cool experience it was watching him preach).

Since we were on such a roll......, after leaving King we decided to continue our non-sense and swing by Greensboro on our way "through town".  We visited with Pamela and Anthony (another two of our best friends) & Kendall our step sister as well.  We had dinner in Greensboro, let the puppies play for a bit, and then ventured on our way back to Raleigh.

All in all it was a wonderful trip!  We both agree that we have much to be thankful for.... & seeing so many of our friends and family this Thanksgiving weekend was a perfect reminder of how blessed we are to have such incredible people in our lives.
